Background:
Ford Cruller was one of the original, and most decorated Psychonauts, until he fought a terrible psychic duel that shattered his mind and nearly killed him. Unless he is in close proximity to a strong source of psitanium, his psyche becomes disjointed, and he falls into one of his other personalities, with no memory of who he really is. However, when he is in his underground sanctuary, the concentrated power of the psitanium mother lode pulls his thoughts together, and keeps him like his old self. Despite his record of service, the Psychonauts wrote Ford off as a loon years ago. He still keeps an eye on psychic activity around the world from his sanctuary, however, dispatching Sasha and Milla as necessary. Headquarters doesn’t know he’s behind their assignments, or they would never get approved.

Mental Morsels:
• Clairvoyance shows that Agent Cruller sees Raz as a true Psychonaut. (Awww.) Chef Cruller, on the other hand, sees him as a hungry mouth, Janitor Cruller as a pile of dirt, Ranger Cruller as a pile of leaves, and Admiral Cruller as a saluting sailor. Doubtless, the same would hold true for any other camper.
• If you use Confusion on him Admiral Cruller will become Janitor Cruller, Janitor Cruller will become Chef Cruller, Chef cruller will become Ranger Cruller, and Ranger Cruller will become Admiral Cruller. Also (if you want to be cruel) Agent Cruller will do a little of all of them and then think he’s becoming even more insane.
• Ford Cruller was voiced by David Kaye who also voiced some of the Lungfishopolis characters and Linda.
