Come on, I can’t be the only one who has some cool idea they wanna see in Brutal legend, so I figured I’d try to create a single thread to house all the neat or weird suggestions we come up with between now and that oh so distant release date. Also makes it easier for the Dev’s to actually find our ideas. (Developer gratitude can be sent in the form of free DoubleFine merchandise to 666 fierce road, Australia (Aka the land down under. Get it? Huh? Ya get it? Cause it’s like, hell. Well, not really, I mean Australia is a kinda cool country but… whatever))

Anyhow, I do have a suggestion. We already have an axe in the game. And we also have a magic guitar. Wouldn’t it be cool if, at some point in the game, these two totally awesome items combine to form a item that is even more awesome then the sum of it’s parts? So you’d have like a guitar, but when Eddie swings it by the neck, these hugely over-sized blades come out from the body. That way, you won’t have to put your axe away when you start playing those sweet facemelting riffs of rock n roll megadeath!

So yeah, after ages gone by I finally got back into wtaching it due to my trip overseas and in a hurry to pick out some DVD’s to take on the plane.

I know, someone may want to shoot me for creating this thread, but really, I forgot how good this show was until now. I went through and watched every episode again and even went as far as to read the scripts for the unmade episodes along with the voice acting that was never used. (I loved the vampire doughnut and Membrane’s cyborg kitty).

So does anyone else here have fond memories of this show? Favorite characters? Episdoes? Quotes?

For me pretty much all the Membrane moments I found hilarious, like when Gaz and Dib walk down stairs to talk to him and he’s randomly torturing electrocuting a hamster. And he always regards his son as a loony. Plus, he invents super toast.

GIR is adorable, yet a psycho. I’m sure we all know that. Even though he acts cute that’s only because of how retarded he is. He can be pretty vicious, like I stated in the cartoon topic. I have so many little GIR items about my room… Like this GIR… flag thing… on my wall… A stuffed plushy, SOCKS. I HAVE SOCKS (of him and Zim), shirts, patches, a pen, stationary. how the hell did I forget about this show with all that stuff about my room. Okay, well I didn’t forget about it, I just took a break.

And my favorite episode was the Halloween special. Why? I’ve always loved spooky things and the monsters in that episode were awesome. Aaron A made some great designs (the steering wheel monster, nightmare Gaz and nightmare Membrane were my top monsters there <3). And the best part of that episode? The very begining with fairy princess Bitters getting shocked by the bug zapper. xDD I laughed so much when I first saw that.

I wanted to go to town with more of the audio clips, but didn’t want to be shot. xD

Psychonauts RPG- take two

The topic of a new thread for a second RPG came up, and here it is!

Rules (slightly modified from original):
1. All posts in third person! Instead of “I walked into the camp and saw Raz. “Hi, Raz!” I yelled.”, it would be “Alice walked into the camp when she saw Raz. “Hi, Raz!” she yelled.”
2. No god modding
3. First come first serve for characters
4. Stay in character. OOC comments should be made in parenthesis, preferably double ((like this)) to separate from common usage.
5. No serious drama. Serious drama includes pregnancy, apocalypse, stabbing/shooting/raping/other illegal things, death, resurrecting the deathbed person without lulz, limb lossage, teen secks, and other forms of shenanigans.
6. If you’re gonna be a fan made character, please use the template below. Mary Sues are generally frowned upon.
7. Couples only if 1. both people playing the character consent, or 2. it’s an canon couple.
8. Only be more than 1 character if you can handle it. Three, unless you’ve proven yourself capable of keeping track of more, is the limit.
9. Entire camp, Thorney Towers, people’s minds, and under Lake Oblengata are all playable fields.

Plot: Completely open within reason. Any suggestions, or at least a general direction would be much appreciated!

Appearance- Corn/Watson likes to wear neutral or monochromatic clothes. Said clothing tends to be two sizes too big, covering the fact that Watson/Corn doesn’t have
much of an appetite. His hair is a sandy brown (southern-eastern coast beach sand :D) which awkwardly compliments his hazel eyes and pale skin. Watson/Corn wears thick black glasses, and has never considered contacts.

Personality- Because of his parent’s serene rebellion of the ‘system’ and the ‘Man’ Watson/Corn is terribly green when it comes to social interaction (as he doesn’t get much being cooped up in the house). The boy has a mind like a black hole and will suck in any scrap of information within a five foot radius. As he has an extensive list of allergies Watson/Corn shifts in and out of being an extreme hypochondriac. To counteract the good chi vibes in his home Watson/Corn can seem extremely stuffy and plain, but becomes vibrant when away from home after an extended period.

History- Watson/Corn was raised by two victims of 60’s. Forced to stay within the reasonably vast grounds of his parent’s rural property Watson/Corn has had little to no social interaction with...anyone. The boy first discovered his psychic abilities at age seven- when he accidentally maimed a statue of Buddha which was precious to his mother. In extreme distress he watched, horrified, as the statue repaired itself. Eventually Watson/Corn cam to accept, and work to hone his Telekinetic abilities. He has come to Whispering Rock to further his psychic powers, hoping to one day escape his oppressive family.

Personality- Sarcastic, all around snarky lady. She has a dark/sadistical sense of humor, and thinks she’s alot more humorous then she really is. She’s pretty childish at times. If you get her mad watch out, typical Pyro in the house.
History- The grandchild of one of Ford’s old buddies Maggie comes from a long line of psychic’s, long line if you scratch out her parents. Maggie’s mother and father are non-psychic, so her only got to see the psychic lifestyle when hanging out with gramps. She grew up in Anytown USA being regularly teased by other kids about her powers, summer was the escape.
At Whispering Rock she was in awe of the councilors, reading about their adventures in True Psychic Tales she was easily star struck. She mostly followed Sasha around like a lost puppy, now she just makes comments of the SashaxMilla topic while donning a big grin on her face.

Appearance- Fish inherited her Indian features from her parents. She has dark colored skin, and long hair kept in a french braid tied with a ribbon. Beyond the ribbon, her clothes are rather androgynous.
Personality- Fish is very logical, approaching problems in a straightforward manner. She tends to be rather blunt as a result of her logical thinking, since she deals with things directly. She tends to be rather sneaky; she values resourcefulness and integrity, but not necessarily honesty.
History- Fish has had the fortune to be born to psychic parents, her mother a surprisingly powerful Aerokinetic and her father a Photokinetic. Due to this, she was able to be identified as psychic early, and started attending WR during the summer as soon as the age limit allowed her to.
