My husband and I couldn’t resist.  Here is our entry: a mutilated squash rendition of one of our favorite Psychonauts scenes… Dogen apologizing to the squirrels for his earlier ‘transgressions”.  (Let’s only hope the squirrels are forgiving.) And there is more! To butter up the judges we have thrown in a few merit badge bribes (wink wink).

Alright Free DVD!  I was planning on doing a Psychonauts pumpkin anyway, but here it is.  I used toothpicks for structural integrity and for Raz’s mouth.  It isn’t very good but let’s pretend it is a figment of raz and a moon.  Observe!

Haha wow. I gotta say I am insanely impressed by the pumpkin skillz on here. Great stuff by one and all. So far I gotta say I like the Lungfish O’ Latern best. With Dogen’s apology close behind.

I finally got a camera to take some pictures of mine today. Doesn’t compare to the rest, but I had fun making them.

My Milk Pumpkin which is filled with milk instead of fire.

Did you see how I subverted your expectations to produce joy? Such is the Double Fine way!

This pumpkin has three carved carved levels, fun marker drawings, some tin foil, 2-gallons of milk, and a special bottle hole which acted as a fountain. It features Boyd dressed up as the Milkman with Pokelope and a tiny Lungfish, which dance respective jigs on Boyd’s arms. In the background are cut-outs of Dogen, Fred Bonaparte, Lili, and the dastardly Bobby Zilch. You can’t really see it in the photos, but everything is carved out at different levels of depth with the background practically an inch and a half into the pumpkin.

Thank you for making this game! It inspires me. :D

Oh, and I painted the Milkman in office supplies. He has a few coatings of whiteout going on there.
