I wish I could tell you how much I love magazines, but I’m not allowed to yet. But I can say how much I love to read them. And not just in the can. Holy smokes, do I love magazines, and the state of Minnesota. Anything from Minnesota is fine with me, and also, I love magazines, and red vinyl, and things that are loud, and things with tires, and chrome, and magazines.
Gahhhh!
Here is a random picture of my sister Angie from the 70s:

| Posted by More Grease on 10/13 at 07:32 PM Sir, I believe you misled us when you put down the “Rock and Roll Legend” rumors. I will write a letter to my Congressman about this, protesting this indignation and requiring that he petition the state to make the possession of Psychonauts and other-games-on-Minnesotan-magazines mandatory for all legal Californian residents, and most of the illegals, too.

| Posted by Info Cow on 10/13 at 10:18 PM Dear Mr. More Grease, my information states that all Mr. Schafer denied was the part about “Rock and Roll Heaven.” Please retract your accusations.
P.S. Corgi, he might have loved you at one time, but then you misspelled his name, and so now he hates you actively with all his heart. He can really hold a grudge, too. Watch your back.

| Posted by Willem! on 10/14 at 08:00 AM I can imagine Tim right now. Sitting behind his computer, looking at gaming forums all over the world, laughing at us. Haha, he says, I’ll never tell you! Brütal Legend is mine! MINE!
Then, he’ll drink a glass of whisky and set out to build his doomsday device.

| Posted by Sean Goes Pop! on 10/14 at 11:42 AM Ok. Its time to put my awsome deduction skills to the test. We have previous rumors of a “Rock and Roll” game, which were quickly denied. And also rumors about a game involving a boat that had an ancient mayan curse on it. So… obviously the boat story was made up by Tim (using a different name which would dispose of all suspicion… what was the name? I think it was Schaefer? or something like that) So, after everybody except everybody forgot about the rock and roll game idea, Tim started working on making a game on rock and roll. And once again, to toy with our emotions, Tim started giving hints about his rock and roll game again. This time, the hints were in sister form. Actually. 70s sister form. “But Sean! I hate life and love to complain! What does this have to do with anything?” Why, good question. This has to do with everything! The picture was taken in the 70s, during the time when black and white FACE PAINT was used by the ROCK AND ROLL band primarily famous in the 70s called… KISS! Well, now we know the game has to be about rock and roll. Right? RIGHT? Oh come dont tell me I wasted all that time thinking about this? DANG IT!!!!

| Posted by 1wingangel on 10/14 at 01:43 PM Okay, what are we supposed to figure out about your game from this?
Man, you’re worse than Nomura-san with keeping your game secret, Tim. You probably won’t tell us when it comes out, it’ll just be there on the shelves on its release date. >_<

| Posted by Subzeroace on 10/14 at 03:41 PM I think my cat Morgan is the fat clone of the cat in that picture.
I also love magazines, I should go out right now and look for one. Even if I had already seen the magic brain thinks of gaming awesome that live inside them.
If I buy a X-Box 360 can I get a picture drawn by Tim?

| Posted by Vabor on 10/14 at 06:47 PM OOOOooo! Doesn’t this mean we’ll have magazines and Kiss makeup in Brutal Legend?!? I must mean that. I mean it’s your sister and makeup and magazines. And a cat! Maybe we can dress cats up in Kiss makeup get them onto the covers of magazines...therefor rendering our enemies helpless as they guffaw at the cat in makeup. Right? I thought so.
Tell us about the game! The game!

| Posted by Johnny Under on 10/14 at 09:47 PM I, on the other hand, HATE magazines.
A magazine killed my entire family with a piece of red vinyl while they were taking a road trip through in Minnesota in their Dodge Charger. It’s taken me years to get over it, and then I come to this site and see this, first thing, on your main page.
I am shocked at your insensitivity. I’m still going to camp out at my local GameSlop in order to reserve a copy of your latest entertainment software masterpiece, though.

| Posted by Headroom on 10/15 at 02:07 PM That is one sinister stare your sister is giving. Bonus points for doing it with a cat in her lap AND having her face painted like Kiss.
Btw, I like magazines too. Speaking of magazines, some Brutal Legend gamerpics via Official Xbox Magazine’s demo disc & Xbox Live would be more than welcomed if you folks could do that. You know, so that we gamers can help spread the word on Xbox Live about Brutal Legend!! Btw, I’m thinking a two-headed baby, an evil belt buckle, a bloody axe, Eddie Riggs face, and the Brutal Legend logo would be great gamerpics.
I can’t wait for the “Projects” link to open for us on the site header. I hope we can get some Brutal Legend wallpapers, avatars, and stuff like that too. I’m all about the media and getting the word out on this so those things would help. I want as many gamers as I can tell about this to know what Double Fine is working on. Thanks for the update Tim, Klint, and DF.
