I’ve bought Psychonauts twice now (and I’d do it again, damnit!) and this Amanda person can’t even throw down the change once to buy herself the best Christmas present anyone could ever ask for?  It’s a sad world we live in.

Okay, that is total and utter crap. Not only does she give all Amandas a bad name, but Amandas who adore Richard Horvitz a bad name. She’s given me a bad name twice now!

I mean, geez. I downloaded the demo to play that a bit, and then searched every local Gamestop/EB Games for an X-Box copy of Psychonauts. Then I made my 22-year-old brother bring home his X-Box over Thanksgiving so I could beat the game in about two/three days.

I blame the internet and this stupid attitude amoung my generation that they have a right to get what they want now and not pay for it.

I hope her computer gets infected with viruses and croaks.

I bought Psychonauts twelve times. Two of those were just irresponsible, so don’t tell my wife about them - it was in 2006. My buddy in California said he never HEARD of it, so I asked him for his address and bought him a copy via Amazon. In the mean time, I bought a copy for a friend for PS2, but that friend sold his PS2, so I told my wife I will return it. But then, I let my other friend Kelley have it, because he played the PC version at my house and was really impressed. (He hated the PS2 version, though...)

In addition, my family, friends, and my sister in law all got copies. Man, I bought that game like it was the end of the world. I was the PSYCHONAUTS WITNESSES, all by myself. But really, it was Christmas time, dammit… And it’s nice to spend $30-50 on someone and call it a day.

For Brütal Legend, I’m going to save the receipts, and send you a picture every year since the game been out, just so you will know I’m not lying. I swear, though, PSYCHONAUTS = 12 times. TWELVE.

That’s nothing; I bought half a million copies of Psychonauts. Then I returned them because they were all defective. Mario was wearing weird goggles and didn’t have a mustache.

I can’t tell you how incredibly guilty I feel about this and I think I owe everyone an apology. I’m also going to say that I’m kinda glad you “internet bitch slapped’ me as someone put it. Besides the fact that it was REALLY STUPID for me to post something like that in LJ it just isn’t right to download stuff like that. I’m glad I never got around to doing it. So basically, this is one of those life lessons where I NEVER EVER EVER do anything like this again. And Mr. Horvitz isn’t a bad person and it’s silly to even joke about it so a big apology goes out to him. And to all of you that yelled at me and told me to burn in hell, I deserved that and I will hear your words in my mind when I even so much as THINK of downloading anything for the rest of my life. I’m sure TONS of work was put into Psychonauts and not that this makes what I said any better, but I’m going out to buy it today if I can.
Maybe I’ll buy it twice to try and make up for this XD.

Wow I feel weird for only buying one copy of psychonauts.  Well next time I got to the store and see it I’ll buy a copy for prosperity, my current one’s box is falling apart due to my near constant playing with it.

I paid for it! And then bought it on eBay when someone stole the first one! And then they didn’t send, so I’m probably gonna end up buying it again somehow! Which is all very sad, since I don’t think you got any of my money from these buyings. D:

You see, you gotta be careful when it comes to Double Fine, Mr. Schafer doesn’t take kindly to pirates (Or misspellings of his name… eek!) and “Amanda"s to begin with.  But cross-breeding the two?  Unthinkable!

That and we’re all basically his zombie crew, and no shotgun works on Schafer-zombies.  So you were smart to give up!  Now buy fifteen copies of Psychonauts and we might call it even.  ‘We’ as in the community, Mr. Schafer already has you on his hit list.

I don’t know about that, if you get some pleasure from it, you should pay for it.  That way, there will be more terrible videogames for you to enjoy in the future.  But if you really like terrible videogames, there are plenty of free ones!
