Thank you all so much for your patience and support in the last several weeks as Double Fine regained its indie-pendence! None of that meant we stopped working on Kiln though – and we ***can’t wait*** to share this exciting update with you all! Be sure to check out our [blog post](https://www.doublefine.com/news/kiln-is-heating-back-up-all-new-update-and-pricing-change) for a deeper run down of the new features, but without further ado: *The Bisque Update.* As always, let’s recap some of the top highlights: - A ***BRAND NEW*** creative mode: **The Daily Throw** 🎨 - **Weekly Quests** to earn extra Chips‼️ - Moving to **Player-Hosted Matches**⚠️ - **Custom Games** with up to 8-Players **🎮** - All New **Pot Journal** to keep track of your pots 📓 - **Expanded Collection Size** to collect even more pots **💾** - **Two New Maps**: Poseidon 🌊 and Ra 🌞 - **New Level Cap** of 60 ⬆️ - And **Two New Decoration Packs**: Psychonauts 2 and Sun & Surf Decoration Packs - Plus a **New Indie Price**, now is the time to get your friends on the wheel! 🏺 Phew. Check out the full notes below! ## ✨ What’s New ✨ - Added Daily Throw, which allows you to compete for rewards by submitting your most creative pot for the daily prompt to earn ribbons from other players, earn Chips and XP and bestow ribbons of your very own. - Added two new maps: Ra's Rise and Shine Nursery and Poseidon's Bubble Bath! - Added the Pot Journal, which includes details and statistics about each pot shape. - Added Weekly Quests, which grant Chips or XP for completing them. - Added Custom Matches– Play with a party of up to 8, on the map of your choosing, with a shared lobby! - Added Candy, Pottery Basics, Rainbow Unicorn, and Succulent pot decorations to the game - Added a ton of new glazes 🫟 ## ⬆️ Updated ⬆️ - Increased level cap to 60! - Increased Collection size to 80, plus it scrolls now! - Matches are now player-hosted! This was an important step for us to preserve long-term game health. - **Note**: In the case of a host disconnection, the game will nominate a new host and the match will continue after a brief refresh. - Improved performance and stability ## 🔧 Fixed 🔧 - **\[PS5\]** - Made pot glaze behavior consistent with other platforms. - Various combat and bot fixes - Various audio, SFX, and VFX fixes - Various UI fixes As we continue to build on Kiln, we are continuing to investigate other issues you all report, but every report helps!
