# Xbox controllers on Mac (Psychonauts 2)

## Issue:

*My Xbox controller isn't working on the Mac version of the game*

## Solution:

###  macOS

- Early launch model Xbox controllers which did not use Bluetooth do not work.
- However, Bluetooth capable Xbox One/X controllers should work except for the <svg class="relative w-auto h-1.2em top-0.125em" width="64px" height="64px" title="Xbox View Button" viewBox="0 0 64 64" version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <title>xb-view</title> <g id="xb-view" stroke="none" stroke-width="1" fill="none" fill-rule="evenodd"> <circle id="Oval" fill="#FFFFFF" cx="32" cy="32" r="31"></circle> <path d="M32,64 C49.6080402,64 64,49.6080402 64,32 C64,14.3919598 49.6080402,0 32,0 C14.3919598,0 0,14.3919598 0,32 C0,49.6080402 14.3919598,64 32,64 Z M22.115188,36 L12,36 L12,14 L38,14 L38,26.3709677 L34.0332596,26.3709677 L34.0332596,18.0322581 L15.9627737,18.0322581 L15.9627737,31.9677419 L22.1112213,31.9677419 L22.115188,36 Z M52,50 L26,50 L26,29 L52,29 L52,50 Z" id="cross" fill="#000000" fill-rule="nonzero"></path> </g> </svg> button. This affects accessing the Journal.
- A workaround is to press the "M" key on the keyboard. Unfortunately, the journal prompt cannot be remapped to another button in-game.

If you have access to a Playstation 4/5 controller, this should work on Mac without issues.
