# Psychonauts 2 Up For Game Of The Year At SXSW

February 1st 2022

*Psychonauts 2* is in consideration for another game of the year award. This time, we're among the finalist for the South by Southwest 2022 conference. Also called SXSW, it is a renown celebration of the tech, film, and music industries. There's a few great nominees for game of the year covering experiences from adventure-platformers and horror to MMOs and cooperative games. The finalists are:

**Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker** — SQUARE ENIX
**It Takes Two** — Hazelight / Electronic Arts
**Psychonauts 2** — Double Fine Productions / Xbox Game Studios
**Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart** — Insomniac Games / Sony Interactive Entertainment
**Resident Evil Village** — Capcom

Now, I'm biased and love *Psychonauts 2* but I gotta say that this is a particularly great list of games that I've had a lot of fun with. Of course, I'm definitely rooting for our own game to win but this is a great collection and excellent company to be in. If you want to help us win the award, you can **[cast votes for GOTY and other categories at this link here](https://t.co/P4ZOuKWt8T)**. Polls close on Tuesday, February 8 at 11:59pm CT. Let's cast some votes, agents!
