October 17th 2025 Our newest game [Keeper](https://www.doublefine.com/games/keeper) is out now! We're ever so proud of this one, but why listen to me when you could read a note forged from the desk of our *Dear Leader*, Tim Schafer. > Hey everybody! > > Feeling lost in the dark? Surrounded by thorny brambles? Not sure which way to turn? > > Well, do I have a game for you: Keeper is here! Double Fine's latest game is a beautiful, surreal, and powerful spectacle about a walking lighthouse and its feathered companion, Twig. > > Together they will cross a post-human island, fending off the corrupting Wither with their powerful, illuminating beam, and heeding the call of the mysterious spirit of the mountain top. > > Keeper is the brainchild of one of Double Fine's most experienced and talented Project Leaders, Lee Petty. Lee was the Art Director on Brütal Legend and Broken Age, and the Project Leader of three award-winning Double Fine games: Stacking, Headlander, and Rad. > > Now he has put together his most visually striking and emotionally powerful experiences, all in a manageable 6-8 hour play time. There is no combat, no failure. Just exploration filled with delightful--if strange--surprises. > > As surreal as the world gets, the vibe always remains, "weird, but chill." But I promise, as weird as you're expecting, it gets weirder. > > To the Mountain Peak! > > -Tim Play right now by heading to [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3043580/Keeper) and/or the [Microsoft Store](https://www.microsoft.com/store/productid/9ncjwhhmvhr0) (and/or just incase you're so excited you want to buy it **twice**). **But first!** We recommend reading this other note, from Keeper's Creative Lead, Lee Petty: [Dear Players of Keeper](https://www.doublefine.com/news/dear-players-of-keeper). Then after that, please go play - thank you!
