Reminds me of Javier Bardem in No country for old men.

| Posted by Razputin on 01/14 at 01:25 AM Woow nice! I need to read that right now!
And the haircut is nice. A regular middle-cut thing would look ridiculous in a game :b

| Posted by Headroom on 01/14 at 11:28 AM I always thought Eddie Riggs looked like Jack Black and Glenn Danzig! (they totally made out)
Dare I say that the shading and color of the images within the magazine look much more vibrant and non-pastel than the trailer shown at the Video Game Awards? Perhaps it’s the magazine texture and sheen that made it look this way? Looks excellent!
I would very much enjoy a hi-res image of that magazine cover without all the fonts so I can make it my wallpaper!!! Please?

| Posted by Kroms on 01/14 at 11:56 AM The font looks like what Hendrix would put on an album cover if he was drunk and so high on drugs he was about to overdose. Whoops. Too early?
Awesome art piece. Especially lovin’ his pose.

| Posted by YerMom on 01/14 at 02:22 PM I’m reluctant to purchase anything with a Naruto DVD case slammed in the shrink wrap, but for Brutal Legend, I’ll walk a mile…a Naruto mile…

 |
| Posted by Kroms on 01/14 at 04:34 PM Spencer did you actually get the magazine? Because…hmm. The January 2009 issue seems to have Halo on it. (I’m looking at the American one.)

| Posted by General Balls on 01/16 at 02:51 PM I really think they need to have some concept art of him punching something.
Also:

| Posted by Kroms on 01/16 at 05:24 PM I say no to a PC version. Internet piracy. I know there’s Xbox/PS piracy too but it’s not nearly as adamant.

Steam’s a very effective digital distributor in terms of anti-piracy. I’ve never really seen a big pirate problem with it (people have pulled it off, but it’s unreliable).
I’d say go that, but I know that unless there’s a massive shift in developer direction, I’m going to have to consent to not playing Brutal Legend when it’s out. I’m still holding out hope for a port post-release, but I’m not keeping my hopes up.
That said, I really hope Brutal Legend will get the attention and sales that Psychonauts didn’t. A cover with three explosions and Eddie punching someone should do the trick.

 |
| Posted by Wiggy on 01/17 at 11:35 AM I think you’ve earned the right to be passive aggressive. A quick search for Brutal Legend on their website reveals that they don’t even know who’s developing the game.
Shameful.

| Posted by kgoodies on 01/19 at 08:48 AM can someone who bought this, upload the scans to the forum? none of the magazine stands in a 10 mile radius of me carry this damn magazine!!!!!!

 |
| Posted by chrispy on 01/20 at 04:01 AM kgoodies, you will find them if you look…
Was that mention in the interview a subtle hint that Glenn Danzig may be featuring in Brütal Legend in some capacity?
Please say it’s so!

| Posted by Cyclone of Mystery on 01/24 at 03:05 AM Sweet. More magazines to throw in the face of every gamer in the unit and Command. Eventually, I’ll have the entire branch in love with this game. ...Well, the midnight shift anyway.
(Wait, GTA 4 is just now getting DLC? Man, way to be on the ball, Rockstar.)
