But the RSS appears to be broken? I could be doing it wrong.

| Posted by jp-30 on 08/21 at 02:06 AM I believe mojo over you any day Tim. Probably because I do news and stuff for them. But not the news referenced in this spiffy new DF website article. That was all Jason’s fault.
We can still be friends, right?

| Posted by FlaMaxil on 08/21 at 09:45 AM Ohoo! Finally!! I had to go to the optometrist twice because of that orange background!
But seriously, about that news, (of the new game) I hope you kill my curiosity and I pray every day for the announcement (be it on Leipzig or not).
You know, with the “New game update” about mexican torta I was wondering about “Grim Fandango 2"… But that’s OK, anything from Double Fine would be good )

What are you going to do now with your new internet?

| Posted by Sam Pagan on 08/21 at 10:50 AM Mwuahaha. I knew the time would come that my suggestion that I emailed months ago about comments on the news entries would come into fruition some day! I am victorious. I really like the new site design, it’s crazy good!

 |
| Posted by Sam on 08/21 at 12:21 PM HA! There’s another Sam, funny thing.
This new love showed in the form of perfect design and technological improvements certainly makes me a fortunate person. Now I won’t have to be afraid of telling my friends and family to check this site and being embarrased by the fact that is was so last century. Now I’ll be proud of doing it, and perhaps I’ll even become popular.
Thanks Double Fine for improving my lifestyle!

| Posted by Saoirse on 08/21 at 12:57 PM Gone is the orange; for such splendor, but alas, the memories carried in the blinding colour scheme too are gone. Ah, the memories of posts now are alone in the archive, orange no longer.
Then again, who wants memories of posts?

| Posted by Jeff the flying pancake on 08/21 at 04:51 PM I love you, Double Fine. Your Psychonauts game made me awaken from a sleepwalking games hell, in which nobody knew how to have fun any more. Please have my babies, or a muffin.

I will swim from New Zealand and claw at your door dripping wet with an octopus wrapped around my leg and multiple shark bites to the groin yelling “Double Fine let me in all I want to be is lov.....ed!!!”
Keep on doing what you do so well,

| Posted by Christopher Lloyd on 08/21 at 05:50 PM Man, I liked the old site.
The orange was great. It was very refreshing to see a site made with bold colors like that. It was clean and simple, it always loaded fast, and I really enjoyed visiting it.
Sure this one is new and high-tech, but I tell you, all the RSS, XML, CSS, XHTML, PBS or TNA in the world won’t keep me from missing the old site.

 |
| Posted by Gerg Rice on 08/21 at 06:53 PM Whoa you have a comments section now? This website is so futuristic. It’s like someone picked up this url, threw it into a Dolorean, and floored it to 88. Does this mean that Tim Schafer can read my thoughts and dreams? Somehow I think he always could. I hope he likes me.

| Posted by Kevin Keane on 08/21 at 07:34 PM Love the new “About” page. Although I think I need a 6th grade English teacher to diagram the sentence “Pick the job that best applies and apply!” for me. So does the job apply to me, or do I apply to the job? I’m so confused.

 |
| Posted by Xbob42 on 08/21 at 09:08 PM Ah, I wondered why my old save didn’t work. Wanted to let Double Fine know I loved them more than my family, my home and my cat. Give us Psychonauts 2! Or anything for that matter, just hurry it up!
Or I’ll kill you. <3

| Posted by Wiggy on 08/22 at 10:33 AM I spent so much time—okay, okay, maybe a couple of minutes—trying to think of something witty and memorable to say in this comment.

Good times.

But anyway, you’re right, I’m seriously amazed that anyone would actually think that you guys were working on a game starring Jack Black…

| Posted by lahosken on 08/22 at 07:30 PM At long last, a gathering place for informed discussion on the topic of Rock and Roll Heaven. How I have dreamed of this day.
What is Rock and Roll Heaven? And where am I supposed to be on Saturday?

So it’s true! Schafer really does pay people to come to this website pretending to be followers. The ruse is up. The cat is out of the bag. And clawing my arm to bits. Paperboy 1884 kills it!
I await further instructions. Do you want me to keep pretending or can I unlock the shackles and wander home now?

 |
| Posted by James on 08/23 at 06:31 AM I like the new design.
FYI though, scott c’s comics are now unreadable in IE at 800x600, because the frame with the actual comic can’t scroll horizontally. Yes, I know. I don’t use IE or 800x600 at home, but at work I can’t help it.

| Posted by J on 08/23 at 05:36 PM New site, huh? Swank. (even though I liked the orange. I LIKED IT A LOT.)
Also if I wasn’t a) British, b) too young and c) completely useless, I would totally want to work for Double Fine. Hooray!

And I’m not kidding.
There you go. You’re welcome.
(Couldn’t think of anything as insanely witty as the above two lines for the third line’s corresponding line, “Please, people.”. Seemed like a request, so it’s sort of like fulfilling whatever the request was. You get it.)
