This time, we spoke to Senior Level Designer Joshua Jon Herbert and learned about his career path into game design as well as the various tricks and techniques that go into making a level. How do you go from a concept to a playable world? What does it take to control a player's pace and guide them down the right path? Josh goes into detail and reveals some tips and and tricks that we use here at Double Fine.
