...and we're BACK!
Phewwwwwww that was a close one. But fear not, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, we are BACK, and our plumage burns bright with the fires of renewal!
It's been a somewhat interesting few months to say the least, a very trying time for us all here at Double Fine. We've been jumping through hoops of fire one after another and we've made it through them so far, though we did get a little crispy along the way.
The headlines you might already know – We are no longer part of Xbox Game Studios. We are returning to independence, and we own and control all our games. So far so good.
But the road ahead is a little uncertain, and we are going to need some support... and that is where you come in!
When news first broke that we might be under threat of closure, the outpouring we saw across our community and the gaming community at large was everything. This place means a whole lot to us, but that our games and our continued existence meant so much to so many of you too, it filled our hearts, and it buoyed us to fight tooth and nail to keep Double Fine alive.
We've been quiet, but we haven't been resting, oh no. We've been working overdrive and Holy Moly do we got lots of things lined up; an absolute Büttload of ways for you to show your support. Importantly: buying any of our games will now directly support us!
But we have more! We're talking merch, we're talking sales and price drops, we're talking game updates, and even new games? We're going to kick off a crowdfunding campaign too! Below are the things we have cooking, and we'll be sure to keep this list updated too, so stay tuned!
