Day of the Devs The Game Awards Digital Showcase 2025

Ashley Esqueda Ashley

Gather 'round, indie fans! The most recent Day of the Devs digital showcase just wrapped up, and we can't wait to tell you all about it! For those of you who haven't heard of Day of the Devs, it's a nonprofit organization (originally founded by us here at Double Fine and our friends at iam8bit way back in 2012) dedicated to raising awareness and boosting the voices of indie developers and their amazing games. We're big fans of indies, and DOTD is a cool way to help those developers get their games seen by you.

Earlier today, Day of the Devs premiered its newest digital showcase as part of The Game Awards' programming lineup, and it was filled to the brim with incredibly creative and exciting games for you to get hyped about. There were seriously spooky games designed to make you feel deep dread, like Lucid Falls, Sleep Awake, and UN:Me; games that featured really cute animals such as AWAYSIS, Dogpile, and Beastro; a game called Soundgrass that aims to push the boundaries of sound design through gameplay. And that's not even the half of it! There are so many more incredible games, and the live show did a great job of showing off their best.

We bet you're really sad you missed out on the live show now. WELL GUESS WHAT? You can watch the replay right here:

You're very welcome. Show starts just before the 30 minute mark. Enjoy!

And if you're unable to set aside time to watch the whole show, that's okay, because Steam's handy Day of the Devs curated page has every single one of the showcase's featured titles. You can peruse at your leisure and add everything that looks cool to your wishlists! Put yourself on the nice list this holiday by supporting some indie developers and sharing your favorites with friends who might love them, too.

Thanks to everyone who helped bring this major showcase to life, and thank you for watching!
