Happy 5th Birthday, Psychonauts 2!
Break out the confetti cannons and put on your Sunday best, because exactly five years ago today, we unleashed Psychonauts 2 upon the world!
We thought a lot about how to celebrate this year. We considered a simple cake shaped like Harold the rat, but someone trapped it and let it loose upon the streets of San Francisco. Watch out!
Then, we got crab sandwiches for the office, but apparently people get upset when you try to give them a live crab wearing two pieces of bread as a pet---rude!
We considered a free traveling flea circus for children, and then someone reminded us that fleas are super itchy, so we scrapped that.
THEN, we had this idea for a huge party in the middle of the desert, where we build a massive 1:1 recreation of the Motherlobe and host a weeklong bash where fans could come and become real-life Psychonauts. But then we woke up and remembered lol, we're indie now, and laugh-cried until our sides and tear ducts hurt.
But do not despair! We have celebrations happening as we type! All kinds of cool, appropriately-scaled-to-independent-game-dev celebrations, in fact!

A Psychonauts 2 Cosmetic Pack is coming to Kiln!
If you're a pottery enthusiast who's been pining for some Psy-powered decor for your ceramic warriors, Kiln will be releasing a full Psychonauts 2 cosmetic pack featuring some extremely awesome toppers, spouts, handles, glazes, charms, and stickers. It'll be part of a larger free update that we'll be talking more about in the coming days, and this cosmetic pack will launch as a paid DLC on September 2.

You might remember the incredible Psychonauts zine a group of loving fans created a year ago (if not, you should definitely flip through it). They've returned with yet another spectacular zine, this time centered on Psychonauts 2. It's an absolute unit, clocking in at 133 pages filled with fun art, fan fiction, and other delights! We're so appreciative of all the folks who contributed to this project; from the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful for your continued enthusiasm and support.
