Our Bisque Update is hot out of the Kiln (handle with care) and we can’t wait to tell you all about it 📣
We have a new creative mode, player hosted servers, custom games, cool new cosmetics, and more! You'll find the nitty, gritty details in our full update notes on our support page, but here's a quick overview of the top highlights ✨ Let's start with one of the biggest changes that has come to Kiln: The Price.
A Brand New Price
Kiln now has brand new indie prices for both editions on all of our major platforms:
- Kiln Standard Edition is now $7.99 USD
- Kiln Fired Up Edition is now $9.99 USD
- AND we've done some price adjustments in certain regions 🌎
And, for those who have been asking, now that we're indie once again, your purchases of Kiln go directly to helping keep Double Fine alive ❤️ So this is absolutely a fantastic time to invite your family, your friends, your foes to the bottlefield!

New Mode: Daily Throw 🎨
Welcome to the Daily Throw, our brand new creative game mode for Kiln!
You all have blown us away with your pot making skills, and we know that there was a creative itch that needed to be scratched -- Besides, there's nothing quite like creating something that others can't wait to steal! Now you have the chance to scratch that itch -- daily!
Find a brand new pedestal, right next to the wheels in the Wedge, where a daily prompt awaits, ready to challenge your creativity and skill on the wheel. This is a whole new way to earn Chips and XP too, so be sure to drop by every day!
Make sure your pot is perfect, then submit it so that other players can give you ribbons. Give ribbons of your own to your favorites! Then rake in the Chips when you make something that really appeals to your fellow pot fiends. You can always look back at your most successful past pots in your own personal gallery too!
We can't wait to see weird beautiful new pots you make!
Now onto something a little less glamorous, but still quite exciting...
⚠️ Servers Have Changed ⚠️
We're back to being indie indie, so our servers are indie now too (that means it's you!). We officially have Player Hosted Games! What does this mean for you though?
- We now have Party hosted lobbies -- that means that you and up to seven of your closest friends will now be able to party up and share a lobby together between matches! Sharing your brand new, legally distinct cartoon dog pot is now easier than ever!
- Note: This does mean you won’t normally see other players in the lobby unless you’ve partied up – we’re looking at alternatives to improve this experience and bring that connection and sharing in the lobby back!
- We now have Host Migration -- Basically, if your host leaves, don't worry! Your level will reload, but you should be placed back into the match after a moment.
Along with these server changes, we have another new addition...
Custom Games Are Here 🎮
Alongside being able to form full eight player parties, you can now set up games for your party!
You can also choose your team makeup, including how many bots to include in the fight. Go form teams and finally learn which team of four is the true pot champion!
But, wait, there's more!
Weekly Quests ‼️
Weekly Quests have entered the villa Kiln 💅From creative tasks on the Wheel, to fighting your spirit's heart out in Quench, complete these every week to earn extra Chips and XP!
Don't forget to claim your well-earned rewards!
And what will you do with all of these new ways to earn Chips? Well, make more pots of course. With that comes a very, very crucial update...
An Updated Collection 💾
You can officially hold even more pots in your collection! You can hold up to 80 pots now (finally, I can recreate my top 80 pots from video games). Plus, the collection is scrollable now-- no more pesty clicking!
Finally, you'll notice that your top shelf appears a little differently – now any pots on your top shelf also appear in your collection.
Making all of these different pots though, we want to make sure you're keeping track of what each of them is capable of...
All New Pot Journal 📓
Disclaimer: It only starts counting your stats after this update. Promise I've smashed more pots than this!
Introducing your handy, dandy pot journal! In your journal, you will be able to see all of the different archetypes for each size of pot, see which you're missing and your individual stats for that particular archetype. Also, never again will you need to ask yourself, "which pot was the paddle ball again?" (Or was that just me?)
Especially for our achievement hunters, we hope that this helps you keep track of which pots you’ve made on the wheel and which you've yet to try out!
For those of you that have been following along with our updates and roadmap, you also know that we have two new godly locations entering the pantheon 👀
Two New Maps 🌊 🌞
Welcome to Poseidon's Bubble Bath, a brand new map with a ton of verticality. You'll find Bubble Bouncers ready to lift you between levels, but beware of the terrifying Clam residing between the two Kilns -- it has a nasty bite!
Next up is a visit to Ra's Sunshine Nursery. Enjoy the play blocks, the rocking camel and cozy crib... It's all fun and games until a giant, flaming sun knocks your pot off the map! Beware of the rolling suns, especially as you head down the ramp to Ra's main water source opposite of the Kilns!
More fighting means more experience, and more experience means...
New Level Cap ⬆️

We have added TEN new levels, increasing the level cap to 60! In these, you'll find new attachments, new stickers, and new glazes! Even more pot making possibilities await ✨
