Updates for Kiln

A new update is fresh out of the Kiln for you all! We have some fun adds, some improvements, some fixes– and we’re hard at work on the rest of our Roadmap, so look forward to more soon!
A quick look at the top highlights:
- Data added for new Quench map, Hades, ready for when it unlocks on 5/7 (Thursday!) at 10AM PST
- You can now resize Stickers to be smaller
- There’s now a higher chance that a Party will end up in the same lobby after a match
- Improvements to animations, bots, performance stability, and UI!

- Fixed case where Players were stuck in a Party of 0 and unable to matchmake

- Fixed Tutorial starting on Multiplayer Error
- Fixed issue where players were not able to Decorate pots after returning to the Wedge
- Fixed case where players could fall through the treadmills in Hermes

Thank you to everyone who has joined us for the first few days of Kiln! It has been an amazing journey for the team and we’ve loved seeing all of your pot creations (please keep them coming)!
The team is also carefully tracking all of your reports and feedback and we are happy to share with you our first Kiln hotfix – for anyone who’s unfamiliar, hotfixes are smaller, more targeted updates to fix more pressing issues that you all might be facing! In this case, we have heard your reports and have two main fixes for you below:
- Fixed an issue where players could become invulnerable after dropping into battle
- Improved lobby finding

Welcome to Kiln’s VERY FIRST RELEASE NOTES 🤩We are so excited to start these off, and, while many of you haven’t played Kiln yet, for anyone who participated in the Open or Closed Betas, we hope you enjoy reading the fixes and changes that the team has spent the last few weeks implementing.

- [Dionysus] More VFX lights when you’re trapped dancing 💃
- [Set] Reduced likelihood of pots getting stuck under the tables near the Kilns, out of bounds, under the sink, or under the stage – if you continue to see issues here, please let us know which pot size and shape you’re using!
- XP curve is now more gentle – Go forth and unlock things!
- Player Level unlocks have been adjusted – we heard you, you like Big Pots and you cannot lie
- General UI clean up and polish
- Adjusted top shelf flow
- Improved color consistency between Wheel and Collection
- Slip polish pass – only the best for such a good boy!

- [Medium Vase - Morningstar] Fixed an issue where it appeared to lock onto multiple spots
- [Large Vase - Planets] Fixed VFX sticking around too long
- [Athena] Fixed an issue where you could get extra water back from sponges
- [Athena] Fixed a few areas where the islands blocked visibility
- [Athena] Fixed some issues allowing pots to get around sponges
- [Dionysus] Fixed special attack cooldown issue when trapped by the dance floor
- [Dionysus] Fixed an issue where pots could get stuck under the dance floor after an air attack in Dionysus
- [Dionysus] Fixed an issue where Medium pots would get stuck in the side areas meant for Small pots – if you continue to see issues here, please let us know which pot size and shape you’re using in Dionysus
- [Dionysus] Fixed a Photosensitivity flash during match start in Dionysus
- Fixed an issue where the SMASHED pop-up would appear multiple times – we saw you, we heard you, it’s fixed!
- Fixed an issue where a Large Vessel appeared as a Small Chalice
- Fixed an issue where Small Bottles rolling could defy all laws of physics
- Fixed a visual issue where pots would appear overlapped in the Ready Up screen
- Fixed an issue where certain specials would not trigger “SMASHED” pop-up
- Fixed an issue where Medium Plates would turn invisible
- Fixed an issue where the wrong pot could be added to your Top Shelf after firing
- Fixed text box for usernames over 15 characters
- Fixed some subtitle overlaps
- Fixed some character visual issues
- Fixed VFX remaining in a few scenarios
- Fixed an issue where the communication wheel would get stuck on the screen
- Fixed issues with t-posing and invisible pots on the Pot Selection screen
- Fixed some issues with High Contrast Mode
- Fixed an issue where being dismissed from a party during a match left a player unable to matchmake – this is separate from having a party of 0/4, which we are continuing to investigate!
We also fixed an issue that no one reported where you could steal actively firing pots from other players by spamming the ‘Inhabit’ button. It didn’t affect anyone, but we thought it was funny so figured we would share with you all 🙂↕️
